Here's a walk cycle I whipped out as part of a test I'm doing of a Jester character I had to design. Keeping in mind the personality of a jester...I think it's fitting XD I really like the way the feet move, and the motion of the torso. The rest is really just overlapping action! I used a technique I learned about from a friend of mine who used to work on Atomic Betty for the thick outline on him. Looks pretty good I think, hope you will agree!
hehe, if I tell you it wont be a trick! lol basically, you copy the frame to a layer below and erase all the lines (leaving a solid shape...the silhouette of the character) and then you put a thick line on the shape. It's easier to show you than to explain it, but that's the premise anyways!

That looks pretty awesome Kevin! I love the upper body and arms. So awesome!
The only thing is there is one frame with the back leg when it's coming over (and is above the body) that really sticks out. A little bit out of the arc.
Oh and maybe when the legs are at the top of the cycle have the timing a bit closer so it's not quite as even? Maybe?
Well you don't have to listen to me cause I'm not your supervisor anymore!

you don't need to erase the line you just need to break it appart (Ctrl B) then ink bottle it your desired thickness if that helps Dom? haha cool beans man!! really fun! super squashy YAY
