Mexico! It's where I wanna be!
So that's where I'm gonna go! In May! :dance: :boogie:
I'll be moving down there and spending my time learning Spanish until my wedding in August-ish (the date is still not set exactly)! There's a possibility too that Emi and I might be able to get jobs teaching animation at a university in Monterey, Mexico! I think it would be an awesome job, as I love animation and helping others improve their work! Also, I'm psyched cause the best way to learn a subject is to teach it! I'm really hoping that this all works out for the best! In preparation for that, I've finally prepared a show reel of all my work since I graduated VanArts! It can be found here: [link]

yeah, they implemented some kind of stupid "collections" thing that's somehow different than your favorites, but so far I don't see a difference, they both show up the same. Anyways...as for drag'n'dropping, you can always click 'download' on the left of the image and then drag it once the image loads in your browser. You use Firefox right?

hhaha yes. all that code and stuff does get a bit dull and confusing. i don't know how people dedicate their lives to that sort of thing but to each their own. i'm taking some lessons on actionscript bc i haven't really animated anything over 30 secs in uh 3 years? that's pretty terrible haha. i am as rusty as you can get.

mexico? sweet!! oh that will be awesome i'm sure. tropical weather colorful surroundings, what a dream. :D

Haha, I hear ya. I haven't actually had the time or motivation to pick up anything on CSS since i wrote that. I'm terrible at stuff like that, I'm all liek "woooo...pretty..." and then I never get around to it! I'm sure that eventually I'll gird up my loins and try to figure that stuff out. As you said, a cruel mistress indeed. HOWEVER...I have a not-so-cruel mistress waiting to be my missus in Mexico, so I'll be heading South of the Border soon! I really can't wait...it's too windy and cold and...not tropical here. XD

i have been working and keeping busy, nothing new or exciting. i wish i had an awesome tale to tell, but i don't. "the man" has been keeping me wrapped up in mindless day to day tasks. how have you been? how is CSS treating you? it's such a bitch to learn. it seems like half the stuff out there is tailored for people who already kind of know what they're doing. i'm trying to learn phpbb and some css, but i can't wrap my tiny head around it. oh internet, you cruel mistress.
